Short for DirectX Diagnostics, DxDiag is a Microsoft tool that allows you to view system information relating to your computer. This tool is helpful in determining whether your computer is able to run our games properly and does not contain personal information such as websites, passwords, etc.
Please use the instructions below to collect a DxDiag.
- If you have a start menu button, click on it, and type dxdiag in the search field that appears (Windows 8/10/11 users can simply use the search function designated by the magnifying glass), then press ENTER.
- Click 'Yes' if you receive a WHQL certificate message.
- The DirectX Diagnostic Tool should then show on your screen. In the lower right corner, click the button 'Save All Information'.
- In the save dialog that appears, click save the information to your 'Desktop'.
Once you have your DxDiag, update your existing ticket, create a new ticket if you don't already have one, or attach it to your email (if you are responding by email).
